Large Pores

What are Large Pores?

Pores serve crucial functions in the body, with one type releasing sebum, an oil that moisturises and protects the skin, while the other facilitates the sweating process. Large pores, on the other hand, are often attributed to factors such as acne, an excess production of sebum, the use of non-comedogenic makeup, and sun damage.

The appearance of large pores can also be influenced by the aging process, which naturally diminishes the elasticity of the skin. Regular application of skincare products that clog pores and a lack of adherence to a thorough cleansing routine are additional contributors to the visibility of large pores.
